TrialNet Pathway to Prevention

Current Trials

​T1D starts with a genetic predisposition—gene(s) that puts you at higher risk.  If you have a family member with T1D, your risk is 1 in 20. Risk for the general population is 1 in 300. T1D progresses in three distinct stages. TrialNet risk screening can identify T1D in its earliest stages - sometimes years before symptoms appear.

Offered at no cost to relatives of people with T1D, TrialNet risk screening detects the disease in its earliest stages so you can take steps to change the course of the disease.
